From year 2024 February onwards, Our BioPak range of food packaging containers, bowls, clamshells and sauce cups have started to transition across to no added PFAS. These are new certified home compostable (AS5810) food packaging products. Some of the food items require greater grease resistance than others. Traditionally the food service industry has been using PFAS which is a greaseproof additive that are added to the product development along with plant fibre packaging which cannot be home composted. There will be more and more products added to the catalogue as we move into the future with no added PFAS which means you will be able to offer greater environmental benefits to your clients. Your clients will be able to home compost majority of the plant fibre products that are no added PFAS.
